WHAT WE DO

CARING FOR THE COMMUNITY
We are called by Christ to be a spiritual community that welcomes, affirms, and dignifies all people, no matter where they are on life’s journey. Animated by the Spirit of God, we love and serve each other and our community while working toward peace, healing, and justice for all.

WHERE YOU’LL FIND FAITH

We live our mission through our outreach and worship. Some of our ministries include:

  • Shower ministry in our building to support Out of the Cold which cares for people experiencing homelessness
  • Penguin Packs which is comprised of volunteers from our church who weekly put bags of food together for hungry children in Centre County
  • SERRV Fair Trade store that we are privileged to host during holidays and special occasions
  • Our Annual Strawberry Festival that welcomes the whole community in June to enjoy strawberries and desserts
  • First Night Chili Cafe on December 31st. We like participating with our community for the First Night fun.
  • Fellowship Ministry that seeks to provide hospitality
  • Choir and Music Ministry
  • Trustees Ministry that provides the care to the physical building
  • Adult and Children spiritual formation programs
  • Interfaith community friendships and service
  • Service to the denomination of the United Church of Christ
  • Annual Cider Press Fall Day
  • State College Pride
  • Kayak Church
